Safety Warning:

For thermoses with vacuum lids, wait at least 1 minute after pouring boiling hot beverage into the thermos before closing the lid.

Hot liquid will expand the metal part of the thermos, creating pressure on the vacuum lid. Slowly open the vacuum lid of your thermos containing hot beverage to allow the accumulated pressure to return to normal.

Opening the lid suddenly can cause burns due to pressure buildup. Please heed these warnings for your safety.
