Mahir Erkan

Mahir Erkan successfully completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at Bogazici University and his master’s degree in Economics at Marmara University. He started his professional career as a marketing coordinator at international fair organizer Hannover-Messe International and later worked as a customer relations supervisor at leading international advertising agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather and Gray Worldwide. Erkan conveyed his knowledge and experiences to students by giving lectures on new media, marketing and e-commerce at universities. Later in his career, he held important positions such as Google Turkey Retail Department Head and Google Asia Pacific Region Performance Solutions Head. He is currently continuing his career successfully as Google Turkey Country Sales Manager in Ireland. Additionally, Erkan has a content-rich e-commerce and marketing blog at internetticaret.blogspot.com. He is also the author of a book called “The Age of E-Commerce”.
